Madrona Auction Dusty Gnomes Work Party

Last Saturday, the Dusty Gnomes (the handy Madrona Dads) completed the work parties sold at last year’s auction. See the pictures below.

Be ready to bid on these amazing days of work from a skilled, energetic, fun crew.  This work party we felled, limbed, bucked, chopped, and stacked two huge fir trees, transplated fruit trees, moved an exterior door and window, etc, etc.

What might we do for you?

Come to the Auction and see your honey-do list DONE!

Madrona School has fun at the Harvest Fair!

Under sunny skies children peeled local apples, ground wheat, and tried out finger knitting at the Madrona School booth at this year’s Harvest Fair.

Some nice connections were made with parents and community members for this, our third year at the fair.

Many thanks to those who made this outreach effort possible:  Erika and Philip Biggs, Cristie Grogger, Suzy and Brooks Lockard, Ivy White, Dawn Ream, Leigh Calvez, Joy Dunning, Karen Cornell and all the enthusiastic Madrona kids and families who stopped by.

We enjoyed supporting the sponsor of this event, the Trust for Working Landscapes!
