Madrona School at a glance

Madrona School was founded in 1999 to provide Waldorf education to children and families in North Kitsap county.  The school has grown each year and currently serves over 130 children ages 1 through 14.  We employ 8 full-time teachers and 10 part-time teachers and assistants.

The school year runs from mid-September through mid-June and follows the Bainbridge Island school district's calendar for major holidays and vacations.

Families who join Madrona School will find opportunities for parent participation in study groups, fundraising, outreach and site development -- as well as seasonal and cultural celebrations.
