The 2017 Community Fund
The 2017-2018 school year at Madrona School introduces a newly reorganized fundraising program we've named our "community fund," to reflect its emphasis on our efforts to both bridge the gap between our operating costs and tuition revenue, and offer more opportunity to come together to celebrate Waldorf education and build our community. The Community Fund has a goal of $120,000 in non-tuition income over the course of the school year.
The season kicks off on September 16th with our Harvest Dinner and Paddle Call! Join us for an evening at Lowery Farm (adults only) as we reconnect at the start of the new school year and enjoy the beauty and harvest bounty in the school garden. The evening will include a 15 minute paddle call to energize and ignite our annual fundraising campaign!
December will bring our 1st Annual Winter Bazaar. This event, featuring booths of crafts and art by Madrona School parents and friends, as well as students, will showcase some of the talent that abounds in our community. Your destination for beautiful gifts and treats!
Finally, in April, we will gather once again for a Spring Fling -- an evening of music, dancing and dessert, and a chance to bid on experiences and class projects in a short live auction.

Plan to attend these community events, or give monthly, and contribute to Madrona School's developing program of Waldorf education for children ages 0 - 14 years old!
